Come join a fantastic group of POC activists, artists, educators, and healers alike in an introduction to Mindfulness. This hour and a half guided meditation will give you everything you need to refuel and set intentions for the new year. Join us in MNDFL's beautiful new space in Williamsburg (BK) and share good vibes with POC from all walks of life. A little background on our incredible hosting duo:

Jessica Angima is a first-generation American, raised in Houston, Texas and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Since completing a 300-hour training at MNDFL, she has been leading loving-kindness and shamatha practices throughout New York City. She has taught at BRIC, MediClub and Sincerely, Tommy to name a few. Jessica is an arts administrator and hopes to join this work with her mindfulness practice to bring about social and political change.

Jen Martínez-Lynch was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas has been a Vipassana meditation practitioner since 2004. She completed 300 hours of training under the guidance of Lodro Rinzler at MNDFL Meditation and is a certified yoga teacher. Jen teaches yoga and mindfulness on rooftops, in schools, shelters, and studios all over the city.
